Not having any healing items did get a bit annoying, especially losing your weapons during boss fights. You'll lose a chunk of your accumulated coins and your equipped weapon, but you just tap A and can be resurrected from a little tomb easily. It is nice that the game gives you minimum repercussions for dying. It was great that the game had an option to turn friendly fire on or off, or you and your co-op buddy would be sure to break up because you'd be sure to kill them almost as much as the enemies would. Whether by glitch, sword, gunshot, or falling off a platform, while playing Fairytale Fights you will die. This happened 4 times to me, and it was reported that others had the same issues in different sections of the game. With each of these glitches the system had to be turned off in order to remove the negative effects, and the entire chapter of the game had to be replayed. Another time, I fell off of a raft while facing a giant beaver boss, and never respawned or officially died - the screen just stayed there, and the boss battle continued without me. ![]() The frame rate dropped to the point where it was unplayable once, and the level had to be replayed. ![]() On a number of occasions the game simply broke. Something is amiss in the land of fairy tales, and it's not part of the story. This happened almost any time a successful slashing attack finished off an enemy, which was fairly often since I picked up approximately 70 slashing weapons according to my weapon statistics. My sister and co-op buddy complained more than once "I can't see what I'm doing, because you did the slicing thing again!" as my slashing gore attack popped up in a bright pink picture in picture display covering about 1/3rd of our shared screen. This also means that there were quite a few heavy visual distractions while playing. Since fairy tales are determined to teach us something, what's on the inside counts for beauty as well - After slicing up an enemy - bones, brains, and other "inside stuff" were nicely detailed on your screen. The character and level design were absolutely gorgeous. The secret trophies, "Wheeeeeee!", "Strike A Pose!", "Master Slicer", "KABLAM!", "Weapons Are For Babies", "Lazy Bastard" and a little more money for "King Bling" should be all that is left.Visually, I will tell you that Fairytale Fights is nothing if not amazing. STEP 4: Complete any remaining trophies you have. Do "Pacifists Finish Last" and then combine "King For A Day" and "King Pushy". STEP 3: Complete the arena-related trophies. Use the tip listed in "Dream Team" to shorten each playthrough to 3 hours. STEP 2: Next, just worry about finishing your 5 remaining playthroughs on each difficulty with single and multiple players. If you do this, you will avoid needing chapter select to collect anything and most of the rest of the trophies will come in your other 5 playthroughs. STEP 1: Play through the entire game on Casual and collect every weapon and treasure chest as well as making sure to achieve an A+ or A grade on each chapter. When the servers were up then some of the trophies could be done online but now they've been turned off, you'll need 2 joypads to get the by playing in offline co-op. ![]() ![]() You cannot miss any trophies because there is chapter select and if you've downloaded the patch, there's no worrying about the trophies being glitched. Earning money and winning 100 arena battles is also very time consuming. 25-30 hours is all it will take to finish if you use your first playthrough to finish on easy and collect every weapon and treasure chest. You have unlimited lives so the unstackable difficulty trophies will be the only thing standing in your way. The hardest part of this game is the amount of time it takes to finish the trophies. Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available. Glitched trophies: None after the patch. Number of missable trophies: None, there's chapter select. Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 6 Approximate amount of time to : 25-30 hours ( Estimated Time to Platinum) Estimated trophy difficulty: 6/10 ( Platinum Difficulty Rating)
